The election is over, congratulations to the opposition for giving it their all. Over all the assesment was alright, however not everybody did something which is annoying.
Everything was fair though and we were given ample time to complete what we had to do.

Jonathan - Evaluation
The political party activity was different to what usually takes place in class. It was good as we covered many different areas relating to what political parties do, some of these being policies and media and speeches.
The fact that everyone was working together helped, as rather each person having to do all the work by themselves, the workload was spread across the party.
Some of the bad aspects of this activity was that the 2 week time frame meant that things had to be finished fast and a lot of media ideas were never released.
Question time should've also been longer, as it proved to be entertaining to see what the ministers would come up with to answer the questions without screwing up.
Overall, it proved to be rather fun and better doing normal class work. It would be good to see some more large group tasks like this in the future.

Today was the final day of the 2-week-task, and unluckily we lost. If we had had all voted for our own team, we would have won though!
This task was good for me as it got me better with my website-making skills, and I can only get better from here. The assignment was a lot of fun, as it made us think that it is quite hard for a real party to get the right policies and right ads and so on. It really put us in their shoes.

I was the assisted Health and coummunity services minister and it was our job to formulate the policy for this area.
I enjoyed most of the work envoled in this area but I particale enjoyed reserching the labor and liberal parties policy. I also enjoyed the minsters speechs becasue i got to see the policy i helped create in action.

Today was election day, we the People's Party of Australia had won. I had partook in creating the policy for the Minister of Health and Community Services. I had originally created the website for the party. Overall I had enjoyed this assignment and learnt the political process in an election. As one of the helpers of the Education and Training minister it was difficult creating a speech. I thought of the blog as annoying and detracting from the whole group experience where everyone should be working together. The most fun bit was creating the videos and podcasts.

I really eanjoyed this assignment it helped me to understand politics a little more. I was the defence ministers assistent and i helped come up with policies on the defence and filmed videos of the opposition in the wrong. There were some set backs with the education and training minister away and extra work had to be done but it all turned out to be great.
I have not blogged so this will be part of it for the last lesson. I posted videos on youtube to be uploaded onto our website and i helped the defence minister with his speach.

I believe that the Commerce Political Party Activity was a great way to enhance our learning and understanding about the political process. It was a lot of fun and it was very practical and realistic. Although it was hard to establish policies and make speeches at first, I enjoyed looking at them being published to a very professional standard onto the website. We had to know our policy very well to answer questions put forward from the opposition. In the end our party - the peoples party of Australia won.

i enjoyed my part in this assignment i loved the freedom and i personally think i excelled in the leadership. it is unfortunate that we lost but i still think we are the ones that deserved to win in the end. i didn't like the amount of reluctance to do work from a lot of my members but in the end we had a great result and i am proud of our work and think that there were some real (unwise) people in our party but all is done now and i have learnt the hardships of being politicaly active and personally never intend to do so again especially after all that hardship.

Overall, I enjoyed the assignment for making political parties. My role in this assignment was to be the MINISTER FOR HEALTH and my job was to form a policy with my team that would entail what we planned to do, to benefit the people of Australia, if we were elected into office. I also enjoyed making the ads with my party and forming questions for Question Time which would bring down the other team. Making the policy was a little difficult. I think that it is a very hard job to please the needs of a lot people.

The election was fun but it was biased towards the People's Party. It was unfair because every time my party (PRA) questioned the other party, Mr Wallington told us to shut up. Also, when our ministers did our speeches, the other party members talked the whole way through and they were never told to be quiet however when my party spoke through their speeches we were told to shut up. Another thing that was biased was that the People's Party went around ripping down all our posters so that was unfair. In all, I believe Mr Wallington was biased towards the People's Party the entire way through as he was always helping them.

My job was to help Matthew Cheater as defence minister. I really enjoyed using the computers to blog and to make vidoes, and to pod cast. I didnt not enjoy the speechs because people were getting loud and not giving people a chance to speak, but thats politics. I found that writing my defence policy was diffulct because i did not know where to start. After going on the internet and looking at real defence policis i started going with my policy and evenutally finish it. I gave it to my party and everyone look at it and it was published on our website. It was really fun and good to beable to use the internet to blog, make vidoes and make podcasts. Overall i really enjoyed this assessment task and would enjoy doing something like this again.

My last days in this election Gab Zaff
I just received the last policy which was defence on the day of presentation. I didn't get a chance to see the website but i manged to help my guys organised but did not do much for myself.
I answered questions for the opposition which was helped by mr. wallington who asked me questions that i was advised to answer in a particular way. On 16/5 I am help planning question so as to shake things up on their side so that we may ultimately win the election.

On friday the 2nd of May, Denby (Secretary for the Minister of Education and Training) and I ( Minister of Education and Training)began to brainstorm what education and training was about and what our roles were. After that, we brainstormed all the ideas about education and training policy. We came up with some core policies and non-core policies we decided to focus on.
